At the Children’s Hospital Foundation, making a difference starts with our people. In our Meet the Difference Makers series, we highlight the passionate team working to improve the lives of sick kids and their families across Queensland.
Meet Eloise Kimpton, our Community Fundraising and Engagement Manager.
For nearly four years, Eloise has been at the heart of our community fundraising efforts. She builds meaningful relationships, inspires generosity and helps supporters turn their passion into life saving care for sick and injured children.
With one in three children at Queensland Children’s Hospital travelling from regional and remote areas of our state, Eloise plays a critical role in connecting communities with our state’s only specialist paediatric hospital.
Her work spans local fundraisers, school initiatives and working with organisations eager to make a difference. Whether it’s a small town goldfish race, a workplace giving program or a large-scale community event, Eloise ensures that every initiative fuels vital hospital programs, world-leading research and essential patient and family support services.
Recently, Eloise embraced a new chapter – returning from maternity leave. Thanks to the Foundation’s flexible and supportive work environment, she could return to work earlier than expected in a way that suited both her and her family.
“The Foundation supported my transition to a part-time role and allowed me to manage my schedule flexibly between working from home and in the office. The balance means I can continue doing the work I love while being there for my family,” says Eloise.
At the Children’s Hospital Foundation, we know that taking care of our people strengthens the impact we make for sick kids. By empowering our team with flexibility and support, we ensure the communities rallying behind us can transform their generosity into real change.
