Brisbane Lions superstar and Norm Smith medallist Will Ashcroft is turning his Grand Final win into a powerful play to make a difference for Queensland’s sickest kids.

After making history as the youngest Norm Smith medallist of the AFL era, the Brisbane Lions rising star will auction off his signed custom Grand Final game day boots, with every dollar raised going directly to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The one-of-a-kind Nike Tiempos, crafted exclusively for Grand Final day, feature Will’s initials “WA8” and a Lion emoji – worn just once as he led the Lions to their first AFL premiership since 2003 with a spectacular 60-point win over the Sydney Swans.

These boots now offer fans a rare chance to own a piece of AFL history and help kids across Queensland thrive.

Will’s heart for Queensland kids

As a proud ambassador for the Children’s Hospital’s Foundation, Will says supporting sick kids is something that is close to his heart.

“Every kid deserves the chance to grow up healthy and chase their dreams, and the Foundation is helping make that happen for so many families,” shares Will.

“I hope these boots can make a real difference.”

The auction is a unique opportunity for Brisbane Lions and AFL fans to score exclusive memorabilia for a good cause. Every bid will supports programs that provide life changing care, comfort and hope for Queensland’s sickest kids facing tough battles.

A Lions legacy

Will Ashcroft is already making his mark on and off the field. Known for his toughness, skill and heart, he’s following in the footsteps of his dad and Lions legend Marcus Ashcroft, while building a legacy of his own.

After an incredible debut season, he’s cemented himself as a fan favourite and a dedicated community supporter.
