Meet our host
Award-winning journalist Sarah Greenhalgh joined 7NEWS Brisbane in October 2024 as the co-anchor of their flagship 6pm bulletin. Born in Brisbane, Sarah has a wealth of experience gained from reporting in over 20 countries during her 10-year career with Seven.
She has spent the last five years as a foreign correspondent, covering major global events including the war in Ukraine and the devastating Turkey-Syria earthquakes. Most recently, Sarah was part of the investigative team at 7NEWS Spotlight, known for tackling hard-hitting stories.
Outside of her role at Seven, Sarah welcomed her first child in February 2025.
