Elsa Dalessio is a highly experienced senior leader with an impressive track record in commercial, operational, and logistics roles across the aviation, tourism, and transport industries.

As a business leader, Elsa is committed to excellence and has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout her career.  During her time at Qantas, Elsa held a number of senior leadership positions, including Regional General Manager QLD / NT, Executive General Manager Commercial Qantas Regional Airlines, and CEO of Sunstate Airlines. She was one of the first female and youngest CEO equivalents of a Qantas Group airline, and achieved outstanding operational results. Her unblemished track record and unrelenting focus on results are a testament to her leadership abilities.

In addition to her roles at Qantas, Elsa was recently appointed as the first female Chair of Aviation Australia, and first female Chair of QTIC – where she is using her extensive industry experience to drive innovation and excellence in the aviation, tourism and hospitality industries. Elsa also runs her own Tourism and Aviation Strategy consulting business.

Elsa has held a number of Board and Committee roles, including Premier of Queensland Business Advisory Council Member, Queensland Futures Institute Corporate Council Member, Lord Mayor of Brisbane Business Advisory Council Member, Olympic Games QLD Fundraising Advisory Committee Member, and Qantas Founders Museum Board Member. Her extensive experience in these roles has given her a deep understanding of the challenges facing businesses in a range of industries, and she is well-equipped to provide strategic guidance and support to organizations in her capacity as a board member.

Chatting and listening have always come naturally to Kim Skubris as her earliest school report cards show. More than once she found herself in trouble for talking in class!

But Kim is grateful to a wonderful English teacher who recognised from an early stage she was destined to be a journalist.

Kim pursued a career as a News broadcast journalist, and clocked up more than 30 years experience with the Seven Network in Australia and affiliate stations overseas.

As a network correspondent she’s reported on some of the country’s biggest stories, including from Bali with Schapelle Corby, in war zones and natural disasters.

For more than 20 years she has also been an emcee, facilitator, and keynote speaker.

Kim now works as a freelance reporter while running her own communications consulting business and is passionate about helping people become powerful communicators through message mastery, storytelling, video, and dynamic public speaking.

The mother of two boys lives in Brisbane and has been honoured with appointments as an Ambassador for The Daniel Morcombe Foundation, National Ambassador for Act For Kids, Board member for LiteHaus International and member of the Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Legacy Advisory.

Fleur is an experienced CEO, Founder, entrepreneur, board member and speaker with 20 years’ experience launching, running and growing businesses, as well as working at C-suite level at a multinational.

She is currently the CEO and Founder of Freelancing Gems- an Australian jobs platform that supports women to find their next meaningful role and Gem Recruitment that puts Diversity and Inclusion at the heart of their people attraction strategies, helping Australian employers to create workplaces where everyone belongs. She is a passionate advocate and public speaker for ALL women at work, women in business, closing the gender pay gap and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace.

Fleur is also the CEO of The Ginsburg Firm that supports women to scale and sell their businesses. She was previously the Founder and CEO The Red Republic for 16 years, which she sold to McCann Worldgroup. She founded the agency in 2003 and was acquired by McCann World Group 14 years later. The Red Republic was one of Australia’s leading consumer PR agencies and under her leadership at the height of its success, had offices in Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Los Angeles.

Fleur is delighted to use her skills and business connections to support the Childrens Hospital Foundation to make the greatest impact possible for sick kids that need it the most.

Steve Titmus is a warm, engaging and passionate communicator being a prime-time newsreader and television presenter for decades. Steve moved to Brisbane in 2016 with his family and is the current Presenter of 7 News Gold Coast.

From a background as a journalist, his experience reporting on major events, sports commentating, telecast hosting and State Director of Television News has developed a well-rounded skill set to adapt to any situation with empathy and the ability to be serious and also light-hearted.
Steve also has a background in crisis management to resolve complex community engagement issues for major government utilities and private enterprise, presentation training, marketing and media consulting to private and public sector companies and organisations.

He is also passionate about charity work and the community having been a board member with the Heart Foundation and consulted to the Cancer Council and Save the Children.

Steve is also Dad to 20 year-old Mia, who is studying to be an Occupational Therapist and Ariarne, an Olympic and World Champion swimmer.

Cameron Costello is a Quandamooka man and former CEO of the Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation (QYAC). Passionate about protecting the natural biodiversity of Country, Cameron works closely with the Quandamooka People and Elders,

Government and industry to progress strategic plans while focussing on sustainable and culturally appropriate economic development. This includes jointly managing national parks and running successful 100% Aboriginal owned camp grounds on both Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) and Mulgumpin (Moreton Island).

Cameron previously spent four years working with the Queensland Government as the Program Manager for Backing Indigenous Art, a four-year $11.2 million initiative for developing a sustainable Indigenous arts industry in Queensland. In this role Mr Costello worked on developing the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and the Djumbunji Press Printmaking Centre, as well as building a Skills and Opportunities Grants Program.

Elia boasts a wealth of expertise accumulated over more than two decades in the sports industry, characterised by a dynamic career spanning Australia and South-East Asia.

Jasmina Joldić PSM is currently the Director-General of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.

Jasmina is an accomplished senior executive and policy expert with more than 18 years experience in senior roles with Queensland Health, numerous State Government departments, the Commonwealth Government, the University of Queensland, and the University of Melbourne.

Jasmina has been a tireless champion for equity through her career, and has an unwavering commitment to public service and giving back to the Queensland community.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Certificate in Policy Analysis, and a Master of Public Administration (Public Policy) from Griffith University.

Jasmina was awarded an Australia Day Public Service Medal in 2022 for her leadership at Queensland Health during Queensland’s COVID-19 pandemic response. She received the Griffith University and Griffith Business School Alumnus of the Year awards in 2023.

Jasmina has a deep personal connection to the Queensland Children’s Hospital and is passionate about supporting the Children’s Hospital Foundation. While working with Queensland Health, she was influential is securing funding for Children’s Health Queensland initiatives such as the PET scanner.
