Current Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for the following roles at Children's Hospital Foundation.

We’re looking for a People & Culture Assistant to join our People & Culture team. This is a 12 month contract, part-time position (0.4 – 0.5 FTE), preferably working 2-3 days, and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

The People and Culture Assistant supports the Foundation’s workforce lifecycle, for both employees and volunteers. The role is primarily responsible for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment cycle (staff and volunteers), maintaining systems, general administration, and assisting the People & Culture team with key initiatives in line with the Foundation’s strategic plan.

Key criteria

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Min. 1 years’ experience in an administrative or human resources coordination role.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including developing advertisements, position descriptions and liaising with hiring managers.
  • Excellent computer literacy, and capacity to use and learn new HRIS systems and platforms
  • Experience as a volunteer or working with volunteers
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
