Fundraising for the Children’s Hospital Foundation helps us fund life-saving research, purchase vital equipment, and provide comfort, entertainment, support, and care for sick kids and their families.

Ways to fundraise!

There are many ways you can get involved and fundraise for sick kids. You can create your own fundraiser, be part of an existing event, support a fundraiser, or join a team.

Celebrate

Ask for donations in lieu of gifts for your birthday, wedding, or other special occasion.

Let's celebrate!

Donations in lieu of a gift can be a wonderful and rewarding way to celebrate that special occasion. Why not ask your guests to donate what they would have spent on a gift. You can do this at the event or via a personal fundraising page.

Challenge yourself!

Why not challenge yourself to do something different and ask for support to reach your target.

Take on the challenge.

From running a marathon to shaving your head, giving up chocolate or trying something new, challenging yourself is a fun and exciting way to fundraise. Get out of your comfort zone and ask your friends, families and community to support you to hit your goal.

Fundraise your way

Got your own fundraising ideas? We are here to help you make these come to life.

Put the FUN in fundraising!

We love hearing the amazing ways our wonderful community want to fundraise for sick kids. From lemonade stands and bake sales to bridge climbs and Alaskan treks, we will support them all.

Why not get your friends, family, and community involved and host an event, have a girls night in, kick a habit, have a crazy hair day, hold a garage sale, face your fears, hold a raffle…

…to name just a few

The easiest way to get your own idea up and running is to create your very own online fundraising page, but if you need any help or support, please contact us.

In memory

Fundraising in memory of a loved one is a very special way to honour their life.

Celebrate the life of a loved one.

May we take this opportunity to offer our sincere condolence if you have recently lost a loved one.
There are many ways you can choose to celebrate their life and remember them, whether it is setting up an online tribute, organizing a group collection in lieu of flowers or just giving a one-off personal donation, each gift in memory of your loved one is a gift of hope to other sick kids and their families.
You can set up a personalised in-memory page and each donation recorded on your page allows family and friends to leave a little tribute message.

Trek for Sick Kids

This year, we are thrilled to introduce our inaugural Larapinta Trek, which will provide a rich engagement opportunity for fundraisers to take part and raise vital funds for Indigenous Health projects.

A once-in-a-lifetime trek to discover the beauty of Central Australia and explore the mountains, valleys, rivers and desert landscapes of the Red Centre, the Larapinta Trail is one of the most iconic treks in Australia – and now with the added benefit of being for a good cause!

Dates: NAIDOC Week 2023, 1-6 July
